Generally i like it...

I really liked the Marni Mens Spring '10 Show/Lookbook. It all seemed accessible, fresh and easily wearable. Also, in a strange way the accessories seem right. I mean "do it." Carry a wallet/clutch with your suit. Or get a tote packed with gold hardware. I also kept thinking of Beaker when I looked at the model with that long face and stance. Fits right in, no?







I liked it so much that I said to myself, "I don't remember Spring '09 being that great." But I am an idiot! Spring '09 was real real good. I dig the stick up on the side of the hair. Might try it. Also, the first model here gives me a stitch of comfort because him and i might have the whitest legs out there. Pale Pale Buddies.

R.I.P. MJ...

I know... in someway I think every human is a little sad that Michael Jackson died. It's not like I loved him currently or even kept up with his career but believe me when I say I was pretty addicted in my earlier years. Kayla and I caught a bunch of his videos the other day and I couldn't stop thinking about all the visual gems the Jacksons have given us. From the moonwalk to Latoya's current face... Serious Entertainment! Pieces of this strange video kept coming to me but I couldn't remember it exactly and finally Chris knew exactly what I was talking about, title and all. I went ape for this as a child. Enjoy it all over again or maybe if you are lucky... for the first time.

Muggle Style...

Only 14 days left until all of our eyes get to witness the milestone that is going to be Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I can't wait. This amazing layout of Emma Watson aka Ms. Granger just made me even more excited. I am here to say it again... Teen Vogue is so hip. They have to work harder and I think it shows. So patience kids, just stare at that white Burberry dress in the bottom photo and whatever that killer pelt is and countdown the minutes until we get our fill of Inferi, Pensieves, Patronus' and some all out brawls!! People are going to die... i am not ready.

Friday Night What?...

I know. I know. Yes, it's true. Dirk is watching this television show. And why? Because it is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. I went wild last year and watched Season 1 so fast. Then for some totally stupid reason I didn't keep my addiction fed and just now got around to watching Season 2 and am making my way through Season 3. Everyone should seriously consider watching this. The acting is insane, the filming refreshing and the music rather good. i mean Julie has Goldfrapp posters on her bedroom wall for crying out loud. Coach and Mrs."T" rival the Cohen's from The OC as best TV parents ever. Watch it! Clear Eyes - Full Heart... CAN"T LOSE!!!

Word to the wise: Don't buy a house. Because you have to spend money on stuff like this...

Same price... yuck! Sadly, I believe the Dries Van Noten contrast oxfords would get me further in life. The box would fit in my sisters car more easily and ya, I would wear them in my backyard while I tried to kill the gopher/mole(s) that are messing with my grass and sanity.
