Pencil Face (sundance snippet)...

So Sundance Film Festival 2009 will be wrapping up tomorrow. It has been a wild week with many films and stories to come. For now, I just wanted to post this short film that I freaked out over. Pencil Face by Christian Simmons. Watch it below or if you are a bit of a visual snob like me you can go here and view it bigger and better and also watch many other terrific things. Enjoy.

The Halloween Party

A thank you to all in attendance. Many fortunes were read. Much fog machine was inhaled. Many a soft drink was drank. It was spooky.

Lula #7

Took a bit of time today and really got lost in the latest issue of Lula Magazine. This issue (and the magazine in general) is ridiculously good. From the paper grade to the color to the styling to the interviews it is just spot on. You should really check it out. That is if you can even find it. Salt Lake really needs a great mag shop. Dear B&N, it was seriously hard finding this mag. Good thing I am not afraid to dig. I found one copy on the last row of the middle shelf of "lifestyles" tucked behind some tattoo monthly...what?

There were two covers. I of course only had the choice of one and I got Audrey with the wild eyes up top. Given the choice, I would probably have bought that one anyway. I think redheads get a real bad rap sometimes and this cover is great. i do however think this Ali Michael cover below is stunning. Also, her layout is beautiful and interesting. These are just a few of the images from it.

Truly Wild...

Well San Francisco was everything i was expecting and more. Fashion, shopping, dancing and above all LAUGHING. There are still one liners that have me laughing as I fall asleep. Thanks for putting me up and showing me a good time H&A.

How many animals died to make this gem of an outfit?

"Alix, is this your jam?" "Probably..."
